Alhaj Shamsul Alam Chowdhury Memorial Hospital

A hospital founded in his own village in 1985 by Alhaj Shamsul Alam Chowdhury during his lifetime, still caters to the medical needs of the villagers in the village of Battali in Fatehabad, Hathazari, Chattogram. After his demise, the name of the hospital was changed as his memorial. Permanent and visiting doctors ensure the patients get the services that they need and medicines for their ailments.

Battali Primary School

This school was founded in 1905 and has been the integral part of the village ever since. This school has been the reason many of the villagers were able to get good education and flourish in their lives. This village school has produced many high ranking officials working in government organisations till now.

Engr. Chowdhury Mohammed Mohsin Foundation

The organization focuses on poverty alleviation through skill training for women. It also focuses on scholarships to meritorious students from low income families for higher education. Every year hundreds of students apply and the board selects a group of students to help them achieve their educational goals with scholarships for higher education in any public, private or international universities.

Hazrat Shah Jahangir Imperial Hospital

For many years, Satkania, a region in the Chattogram District, situated in between Chittagong City and Cox’s Bazar has never had a proper hospital to serve the people of that region. This hospital land was gifted by the current Sajjad-e-Nashin Hazrat Taj’ul Arefin (QSA) of the Silsilah-e-Aliyah Jahangiriya of Mirzakhil, Satkania. A four storied Hospital dedicated to maternity and children is built and hopes to serve all the people of the region
for free.

Chevron Clinical Laboratory Pvt. Ltd.

The first computerized clinical laboratory in the country which serves the entire district of Chattogram with over 23 branches spread across the region. A special service for the poor has been developed since its inception to help with their medical bills and discounted clinical tests.

Al Amin Institute of Islamic Sciences

This institute was started during the pandemic to ensure the continuation of education of the children nearby. The focus is to offer affordable and well thought education in Bangla, English and Arabic with Islamic studies and a Library for all students despite their parent’s financial background. It now hosts almost 150 students and provides scholarships.

ABS supports several Madrasah’s and Orphanages across Chittagong District and have always played an active role in Education.
